UX – Case Study
Create a new service for the cooking community that is able to connect amateurs and professional chefs by sharing dishes and recipes.
Challenge
You are all working with a startup that will provide a service to share amateur food photos. You are about to take on the product roadmap, and to get started you want to start discussing the language and structures that would make sense to your specific user. Your user is Kyle, 28 years old. He is a young chef who is expecting to become a better cooker and wants to share his cuisine. His need is to share photos of his dishes, to find inspiration and connect with other professionals.
Outcome
We collaboratively crafted the Intent, Ontology, Taxonomy, and Choreography to strategically outline the app's structure. Subsequently, each team member independently designed the app. Key features include a proficiency test distinguishing between Amateurs and Professionals, an Explore page for inspiration, the ability to save and organize posts into collections for better structure, and a messaging function facilitating communication among professionals.
